At TuitionLab, we only take on a limited number of 11+ students each year. This ensures every child receives focused support, consistent feedback, and the individual attention they deserve.
Once term begins, places rarely open up. Why? Because our students stay. They grow in confidence, strengthen their exam technique, and make steady progress — all without overwhelming pressure or burnout.
That’s why we start every new enrolment with a free taster session. It gives your child the chance to experience our teaching style — and gives us the chance to see if they’ll thrive in our learning environment. If it’s a strong match, we’ll invite you to join. If not, we’ll happily guide you to the next best step.
We don’t offer one-size-fits-all tuition. We work best with families who are ready to commit to their child’s 11+ journey — with consistency, encouragement, and long-term growth.

🧠 What happens in the free taster session?
Your child will join one of our live 11+ group sessions (either quiz or vocabulary) to experience our teaching style and see if it’s a good fit. You’ll also get a feel for the structure, pace, and expectations.
Is this a full tutoring session?
Yes — your child will take part in a real, live session with other learners. It’s not a consultation or sales call. We want your child to benefit from the experience, not just hear about it.
Are lessons online or in person?
All our lessons are delivered live online by qualified, experienced 11+ tutors. Students attend from the comfort of home, and sessions are fully interactive with opportunities to ask questions.
What happens after the taster session?
If your child enjoys the session and there’s space available, you’ll be invited to enrol. If spaces are full, we’ll offer the option to join our waiting list or recommend the best next steps.
My child isn't sitting a specific grammar school test — can we still join?
Absolutely. Our programme prepares students for a wide range of 11+ exams including grammar school entrance tests, independent school papers, and general reasoning-based assessments. We’ll guide you on what suits your child best.
What if I’m not sure of my child’s current level?
No problem — that’s exactly what the taster session helps with. You don’t need to know your child’s scores before joining. We’ll observe how they engage with the material and advise from there.
